Mel Stewart

 

As a good friend and advisor, Mel Stewart has given his support to The-Environmentalist’s environmental technology since 2005.

 

Responsible for the development and implementation of all Sharjah infrastructure projects, Mel is representing and advising His Highness Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the Ruler of the Emirate of Sharjah and Member of the Federal Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates on highways, ports, airports, water supply, sewerage, government buildings and free zone developments. Mel is also the point of contact with His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah for the British community and various churches and schools in Sharjah.

 

In 1991, he received the Order of the British Empire for services to British commercial interests in the UAE. In the same year, he was awarded ‘The Key to Sharjah by HH the Ruler for services to Sharjah Emirate’. Even until now, he is the Engineering Advisor to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, UAE.

Melanie Stegmann

 

Married to The-Environmentalist, Melanie Stegmann has been supporting his visions and work since 1999. In 2006, she moved with their three sons to Sharjah. Melanie is Co-Founder and Shareholder-Managing Director of Blue Building Foundation, which was founded in 2010.

 

In her position, Melanie is responsible for all administrative tasks within the logistical operations for the projects, human resources, coordinating purchases locally as well as internationally, and daily correspondence with German Partners and suppliers. Furthermore, Melanie oversees all public communications, including those on social media.

As Management Assistant, Elisabeth Artukmac has been an essential part of our Blue Building Foundation Team since early 2016

 

Because of her long-term experience as Marketing and Contracting Manager in the Tourism Industry in the UAE; her field of responsibilities lie in the daily correspondence with international business partners, handling extensive studies, forming presentations, and conducting market analyses directly for the Management.

 

Currently on maternity leave, we look forward having Elisabeth back with us after her break.

Lee van Niekerk

 

Lee van Niekerk joined Blue Building Foundation as the PR Manager in July 2019.

 

Lee studied to be a Sciences Teacher and has experience working in schools locally and in South Africa. She brings that scientific knowledge, together with her interpersonal skills and an eye for detail to the workplace.

 

A passion for the environment keeps her goals focused as she takes on her responsibilities of developing official presentations, updating the homepage, designing brochures for projects, proofreading documents / reports and other general communications.

Aline Arcayan joined our Blue Building Foundation Team in May 2019.

 

In her position as accountant, Aline is responsible for the book keeping and VAT declarations, along with the routine preparation of financial statements i.e. Balance Sheets, income statements, purchases, payments, receipts and staff payroll. Additionally, due to her experience in local import and export procedures, she prepares the customs documents for our goods from Germany.

Dewald van Niekerk joined Blue Building Foundation in April 2019.

 

Being a trained Electromechanical Engineer with 6 years of working experience in the field, Dewald is responsible for the PLC programming. He is also supervising Blue Building Foundation’s ongoing construction projects. Furthermore, he takes on the tasks of installing, repairing, testing and maintaining electrical equipment and machinery. Together with these skills and his ability to plan ahead and see the bigger picture, he is assisting The-Environmentalist with the implementation of the Ecorefine and Blue Ecopower technology.

Jerome De Robles joined our Blue Building Foundation Team early in 2018.

 

Educated as a Mechanical Engineer, Jerome assists in the planning, drawing and implementation of Blue Building’s special projects for cleaning contaminated soil. In cooperation with our partners in Germany, his drawings are the basis for the production of the Ecorefine and relevant areas of the Blue Ecopower technology.

As our Architect, Zivie Dave Amora has been a part of Blue Building Foundation since December 2017.

 

With 10 years of professional experience internationally, he is bringing the ideas of The-Environmentalist to ‘Life’ with the creation of sensational building designs. Furthermore, Dave plans designs for single villas and apartment houses, conducts detailed planning for different future and ongoing projects, and implements the benefits of the Blue Building Concept into a comprehensive city design.
